HOOB Atom Skazka grew from a spontaneous collaboration, unconventional decisions and mutual trust between the HOOB and Alkonost teams.

Who created the Skazka artwork?
The artwork is by Daria Kareva, co-founder of Alkonost. It features characters from Russian folk tales in a style inspired by lubok prints.
When was HOOB × Alkonost launched?
Atom Skazka was announced on the official HOOB Telegram channel on March 2, 2022. The collaboration continued with subAtom Skazka in September that year.
How is Atom Skazka different from a regular Atom?
Skazka is a special artistic edition based on Atom. Its distinguishing features are folk-tale illustrations on the body and mouthpiece and a coordinated visual language across the project accessories.
Are Atom Skazka and subAtom Skazka the same model?
No. Atom Skazka and subAtom Skazka are different models. The compact subAtom features new illustrations of familiar characters and their hookahs. HOOB and Alkonost described this next chapter as “a fairy tale you can take with you.” This page is dedicated to the original Atom.
